GROWSK8LIFE is run by Nicole Hanson, out of Portland, Maine. An all female skateboarding non-profit, run by females, for females.
GROWSK8LIFE is currently working towards our non-profit status.The mission of the non-profit branch is to recruit at-risk girls in the community, team them up with mentors, and all learn how to skateboard together. Any level of skateboarding is welcome. GROWSK8LIFE will provide skateboards, as well as all necessary skateboarding equipment, however, all girls must partake in monthly community service projects.
